With two District 29 schools classified as needing improvement by the State Department of Education, the Williston District 29 School Board received updates on how those schools are working to improve. Schools classified as needing improvement are listed as either “Comprehensive Support and Improvement Schools” (CSI) or “Priority Schools”. Kelly Edwards Elementary School (KEES) is classified as a CSI school while Williston-Elko Middle School (WEMS) is a Priority School. The board approved the awarding of the Williston-Elko High School (WEHS) gym project to AOS Specialty Contractors in Lexington.
