USC Aiken Dean Mark Hollingsworth played an original march song he wrote for the bagpipes on Monday morning as USCA and community representatives made the first official walk across the university’s new pedestrian bridge.

Hollingsworth, dean of USCA’s College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, composed the special march song, “Pacer March Across the Bridge,” for the dedication of the bridge, which joins the university’s academic and residential campus on the east and the Convocation Center on the west over the Robert M. Bell Parkway.
